Students on Track 2020

The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship is widely regarded as one of the best and most entertaining motorsport categories in the world and schools have the opportunity to be a part of the action through the 2020 Students on Track program.

A visit to a round of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship provides fantastic opportunities for students to engage with and get excited about STEM education, in an environment where they can see, hear and smell STEM in action.

Children can make meaningful connections between the Australian Curriculum and the action on track, with the program allowing teachers and students to spend the day trackside and learn about one of Australia’s top sports up close. The Students on Track program includes free access to the circuit and the Supercars Paddock* where students can witness the action of the team garages.

Unlike any other sport, students will be close enough to watch the drivers, engineers and team owners run through their paces and get the cars ready for racing.

Don’t miss the chance for your school to get involved and register your schools participation below.

Note: Capacity for the Students on Track program at the Coates Hire Newcastle 500 is currently full. Please email [email protected] if you would like to be put on the waitlist for this event.

Student on Track registrations are currently on hold for both the Tasmania and Perth events. Once these events have new dates confirmed, we will reopen registrations for schools.

Sufficient adult supervision is required for each group.
